Glowxie is made from 100% toughened glass. Not only is this better for the environment, it is much more hygienic than traditional foot files.

As a guidance your foot file should last between 6-12 months.

No! Unlike traditional foot files that have sharp edges, Glowxie was designed with smooth rounded edges. These rounded edges offer much better protection to the skin since they do not work by cutting. With all foot files, you should rub gently and regularly check the skin.

Step one is a courser file and designed to remove hard, thicker skin and calluses. Step two is a finer file used exfoliate the skin.

Our foot file, whilst built to last, can break or chip if not handled with care. This could result in serious injury. Please be sure to inspect your foot file before each use, and if you notice any damage, refrain from using it. Should your foot file arrive damaged, don't worry! Moisturising gel heel socks are soft, breathable socks lined with padded gel that helps lock in moisture and support hydration while you wear them. They’re designed to help smooth and soften dry, rough, or cracked heels when used regularly.

1. Soak - Soak skin whilst showering or bathing for at least 5 minutes. Do not apply any soaps or lotions as friction is needed for exfoliation.
2. Exfoliate – Move out of the water and lightly wet the glove. Scrub skin with sweeping, firm strokes using your palms. Repeat for each desired area on your body. Redness is normal as you increase blood circulation in the area.
3. Rinse – Step back into the water and rinse your body and glove with warm water. Wring the glove and let it hang dry.
4. Moisturise – On dried skin, apply a gentle moisturizes. Avoid AHAs / BHAs and use an SPF when in direct sunlight.

Please note:

• Do not over exfoliate the skin, this will cause skin irritation. It may take a couple of uses to find the right pressure for your skin type.
• Skin peeling depends on skin type and visible peeling results are not guaranteed. Skin will be exfoliated regardless if visible peeling occurs.
• Ensure to stay away from sensitive areas, open cuts, acne or inflames skin.

Not everyone will experience the same results, and visible peeling is not guaranteed. Even without visible peeling, your skin is still being effectively exfoliated. Some users may see more peeling than others, and the color of the skin peel can also vary.

If your glove isn’t providing optimal results, try the following tips:

• Soak your skin in warm water for at least 5 minutes before using the glove to loosen dead skin and dirt.
• Avoid using oils, soaps, lotions, or body wash prior to exfoliation, as these can make the skin slippery and reduce the glove’s effectiveness.
• Step away from running water before scrubbing. Wet your glove and squeeze out excess water—your glove should be damp, not soaked.
• Use firm, long strokes and apply pressure to increase exfoliation. Scrub with your palms flat to cover more surface area.
• Dry skin typically peels more than oily skin, and if you’re already using other exfoliating products, visible peeling may be reduced.
• For best results, exfoliate no more than twice a week to give your skin time to recover between sessions.
• If you already regularly use body exfoliant, your skin may not visibly peel.

We recommend replacing your glove every 8–12 weeks to maintain hygiene and effectiveness. To extend its life, hand wash the glove with antibacterial soap, and line dry it. Avoid ironing the glove. If you’re sharing the glove with someone else, consider replacing it more frequently.
